Michelle Oresky is the Director of Youth Ministry and Sacramental Preparation at St. Peter Parish. In addition, she is a teacher at the Chesterton Academy of Notre Dame in Spokane, teaching high school math and science. Michelle is originally from Virginia, moved to Spokane in 2013, and worked for 5 years as a structural engineer prior to making the switch to teaching. When she's not working either of her 1-1/2 jobs, she likes to read, knit, do crossword puzzles, and have long conversations about things that matter. She loves the Green Bay Packers, Atlanta Braves, and Detroit Red Wings. She does not like basketball, though she once coached a team of 6th-8th grade girls to a league championship. At St. Peter, Michelle can often be found barefoot in the Chapel, pledging to finally clean her office (for real this time!), or hiding in the Youth Room to actually get some work done. Her dog Gretzky - an impossibly cute and sweet, big, furry mutt - often accompanies her and sheds all over the aforementioned messy office.
