Linea was born and raised on a small farm in southern Oregon. As a cradle Catholic she has been participating in, volunteering, or working for the Church her whole life. She moved to Pullman in 2011 and said “yes” to volunteering with the preschoolers at Sacred Heart quickly after. In 2016 she said “yes” to working for the Newman Center at WSU, St. Thomas More, while continuing to volunteer in the Faith Formation program at Sacred Heart. In 2017 she said “yes” to helping with the youth group at Sacred Heart when they needed a chaperone for some trips, and then “yes” again in 2019 when she was asked to take over as youth ministry coordinator. Saying “yes” has led Linea down a path she never thought she would take, but she wouldn’t change a thing. Working with the youth and young people of the Church has been such a blessing. In her spare time, Linea likes to bake, read science fiction, attempt overly ambitious arts and crafts projects, and grow things in her yard.
