Please join us for a Silent Day of Prayer on the
"Theotokos, The Incarnation, and the Resanctification of Women," lead by Dr. Catherine Tkacz on October 1, 2019 at Immaculate Heart Retreat Center (location: 6910 S Ben Burr Rd). In the Eastern calendar, October is the month of the Protection of Mary and so a fitting time to consider her venerable Eastern title “Theotokos” and her role in the Incarnation. She exemplifies for all Christians, and in particular for women, the universal vocation to holiness. In fascinating ways, reproductive science and genetics help us see how her willing role in God becoming Man brought about the resanctification of women. The Silent Day of Prayer includes the Mass, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation, two conferences, lunch and concludes with the Rosary and Adoration.
$40 per person, ($50 with use of a private room for the day). This Day of Prayer is silent. For more information on Dr. Tkacz and this event, please click on the logo!
