The Catholic Medical Association in collaboration with Gonzaga University will present a
Conference on Pornography: The New Drug, at the Hemmingson Center of Gonzaga University on Saturday, February 23, 2019. Seating begins at 7:30 AM. The conference will host national experts in the field. All high school students and college students may attend for free, including lunch. To Register:

here.Don Hilton, MD, a neurosurgeon will talk about pornography's effects on the prefrontal cortex and the neurophysiology of sexual addiction.
Gail Dines,Ph.D. a sociologist from Boston and author of
Pornland will lecture on its effects on our young people and growing up in a "pornified culture". (Be sure to watch her Ted Talk on YouTube). She will also give a lecture on human trafficking.
Clay Olsen, from Salt Lake City, founder of
Fight the New Drug will explore the ramifications on our young people in terms that college students can relate to. Founder of the National Center on Sexual Exploitation,
Patrick Trueman, JD, from Washington DC, will talk specifically about human trafficking.
Aaron Tilbury, founder of the
Jonah Project will relate all of this to human trafficking of teenage girls right here in Spokane.
Stefanie Carne,s Ph.D., is the recognized national leader in the treatment of sexual addiction. She will speak at length about this problem and lead a panel discussion of five regional sex therapists from our region.
