BEN WALKER, new principal at St. Mary Catholic School, Spokane Valley:
Mr. Ben Walker will be the new principal of St. Mary Catholic School.
Mr. Walker has served the Diocese of Spokane and Gonzaga Prep for 25
years as a teacher, coach and administrator. He has taught religion, math and English, and has been Vice-Principal of Student Life/Dean of Students at Gonzaga Prep for eight years. He is a product of Catholic schooling, having gone to both St. Mary and Gonzaga Prep, and received his principal certification at Gonzaga University. He is really “coming home to St. Mary’s.” Those who know Mr. Walker as a colleague have the utmost confidence in his abilities to lead St. Mary!“Catholic education is my passion because God is found here in all people and things. AMALIA WALLE, new principal at St. Patrick Catholic School, Pasco:
We are very happy to formally announce that our new school principal
is Amalia Walle, a life-long parishioner. She and her husband have two
children; their son made his First Communion and Confirmation this year and their daughter is a student at Delta High School. Amalia has worked in several schools and positions throughout Pasco School District since 2008. She served on the district level Assessment & Bilingual Committees, the Mcloughlin Advisory, AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination, designed to help underachieving students with high academic potential prepare for entrance to colleges and universities) and Intervention committees. She is the head cross country coach and
assistant to the track coach.
We are very grateful to the search and interview committee and thankful, that in God’s Providence, Amalia Walle has accepted this appointment. We are looking forward to the new school year.
